Fraxel laser treatments rarely have side effects, since Fraxel treatments have been thoroughly clinically tested. Most people feel like they have a minor sun burn after Fraxel treatments. Other potential side effects that happen rarely are side effects from prolonged redness, blistering, swelling, oozing, petichiae, scarring, prolonged wound healing, scabbing, viral or bacterial infections, pigment changes, and acne.
